Before I left for Disneyland Paris I did a lot of research on where to stay.  I knew the chances of my coming back anytime soon were not high and so I really wanted to take advantage of my time there.  I was also coming off of 2 weeks of intense work related travel and knew I wanted to be comfortable and conveniently located to the parks.

I ended up choosing the Newport Bay Club because it had been recently renovated in 2016, it was close to the parks, and was within my price range.  I stayed there for 5 nights/6 days and was not disappointed with my choice.  In this post, I’m going to walk you through my stay there and share some of my general observations about staying at a Disneyland Paris Resort.

My favorite time of the year is BACK – the Festival of Holidays at Disney’s California Adventure.  It’s like our own version of the Food & Wine Festival but with all the holiday cheer.  It launched last weekend and while I still have a ways to go when it comes to all of the goodies to consume, I thought I’d share some of favorite items (so far) with you all for inspiration.

I just returned from a last minute trip to Disneyland Paris and wow, was it one of the most incredible trips to a Disney park I've ever had. This one was a bit harder to plan for because I didn't find a lot of resources with comprehensive advice, so a lot of what I ended up doing was a bit of trial and error. I'm hoping that the next several posts will really help those of you planning a trip to Paris in the near future.

Just returned from my 3rd trip to Walt Disney World in 2 years and I have to say that it was JUST as fun as each of the others. I think it's impossible not to have a good time at WDW. We stayed at Pop Century and went for 6 days. I'm convinced that for me, my ideal timeframe is definitely 6 days at a minimum if I plan to do all of the parks and not kill myself along the way. This trip was at the end of May and was still pretty good from a crowd control perspective but it was VERY hot and humid. That was a bit surprising but we got through it. Following is a topline review of my week in the parks.

There are so many food options at Disneyland that sometimes it can be hard to choose where to go and when.  I've made it my personal mission over the last year to try something new every single visit. I'd love to say I've tried everything but alas, I'm not even close.  I have, however, already identified some goodies that are my go-to recommendations for friends and family and thought I'd share with you!

As a follow-up to my last post, I wanted to share an example of an itinerary I would create for a "perfect" day at Disneyland.

A few qualifiers before I set out:
1) I'm assuming this is a normal crowded day at the parks (not during the holidays or during any other special events)
2) Your main goal is to get on as many rides as possible in one day
3) No one in the party is using a Parkhopper pass
4) We have the full day to explore
5) Everyone in your party has Maxpass for the day
