If you’ve been following this blog for the last month, then you know I just returned from a Good Dinosaur inspired trip throughout Wyoming. You may also now know that Wyoming provided the backdrop for this epic adventure film. Given that the movie is set in Wyoming, there are TONS of fun film inspired things to do for you and your family. Below are my top 10 Good Dinosaur inspired things to do in Wyoming.
The Good Dinosaur Inspired Wyoming Activities
- Visit the Grand Tetons (either via car at a nearby overpass or on a hike like the one at Jenny Lake to Inspiration Point)
- Make your own twig family in the sand at one of the many lakes in the Grand Teton National Park
- Horseback ride through the mountains
- Hike the Atherton Ridge Trail
- Whitewater raft down the Snake River
- Pick wild berries (make sure to be advised by a Park Ranger before doing this as choosing the wrong berries can be deadly)
- Visit Norris Basin & Mammoth Hot Springs in Yellowstone
- Look for wild bison in the Grand Tetons or Yellowstone
- Have a campfire under the stars at one of Yellowstone’s many campgrounds
- Take in one of Yellowstone’s powerful waterfalls (Lewis Falls or the Lower Falls are both great options)
